We are fully IADC accredited and shares one of the highest success rates of training in Well Control courses. Our instructors have a wide range of knowledge with degrees in Petroleum, Chemical and Mechanical Engineering along with a background in Drilling Operations.
Well Control – IADC Wellsharp
We offer s IADC Wellsharp course which is available at Introductory, Driller and Supervisor levels.
In accordance with IOGP recommendations we offer a variety of scenario-based well control training for all trainees on a IADC approved simulators. This provides a realistic environment that immerse a trainee in the same environment they would be exposed to on a real drilling rig. Through this scenario based training, a greater understanding of the greatest risks to drilling and critical factors affecting this should be gained. These factors include uncertain parameters leading to different types and sizes of kicks and the intensity of kick influxes.
Course Design and Development
We have a leading course design (Life Saving Rules) and will continue to look for ways to develop our clients HSE and drilling training programs.
We are exploring numerous ways of conducting training in house instead of using third parties and moving this training to computer based learning to allow training to occur at any time with or without the presence of an Instructor. This should allow a substantial cost saving and reduce the overall training budget and increase training efficiency.
